Noah: A Novel

"Noah: A Novel" is an adventure novel written as historical fiction. It's also totally faithful to Genesis and a six-day creation. In spite of writing about a period of human history rife with corruption, great pains were taken to make sure there is no gratuitous profanity or sexuality, but it was necessary to describe evil events.

SYNOPSIS

Noah is a righteous man living in a corrupt world. As a preacher, he strives to overcome opposition from society and even his own family.

Just as Noah begins to despair, God appears to him and tells him to build an ark to escape a coming flood, which will eradicate the wicked. He then must overcome the skepticism of his family, the corruption of his shipbuilding crew, and harassing protesters in order to complete the task.

After the ark is finished, Noah encounters trouble one last time in the city, barely escaping with his life. He and his family board the ark just as the flood comes and destroys the world. They must then deal with hard, dirty work, boredom, and short tempers for over a year as they care for the animals. The ark finally lands on Ararat, and they exit to meet a fresh, new world with new challenges. Noah and his family set out to harness and repopulate the world once again, while Ham, the black sheep of the family, rebels one last time with disastrous consequences.
